The scans we offer at itrust fertility

The iTrust Fertility Clinics offer a private pregnancy viability ultrasound scan and can provide convenient weekday and Saturday appointments delivered by an experienced sonographer.

We pride ourselves in providing a diagnostic ultrasound service that is friendly, thorough and with longer than average appointment times. All patients will receive a detailed appointment time with a report that you can take away with you, or see one of our specialists.

Early pregnancy scan

From 6 weeks onwards

These scans can be carried out when you are 7–14 weeks pregnant and they:

Determine viability
Check gestation and the development of your baby
Estimate your due date
Offer you a full report of development (including measurements)
Give you up to 4 pictures

Growth scan

This type of scan is performed when you are over 14 weeks into your pregnancy and it:

Measures the growth of your baby
Estimates the weight of your baby
Takes an umbilical cord Doppler measurement if you are over 24 weeks into your pregnancy
Reveals the gender of your baby if you request this information
Gives you a full report

Gender scan

From 16 weeks onwards

These scans can be conducted when you are over 16 weeks into your pregnancy and they:

Determine the gender of your baby
Provide you with a full report
Offer you up to 4 pictures

Please note that a gender scan for twins will be priced higher than a gender scan for a single-baby pregnancy. This appointment will also be slightly longer than our regular appointment times, requiring 45 minutes.
